Filling the Void

We were "deranged" today for a couple of hours, and we got to see some of what our house used to look like before the previous owners started doing "fixer-upper" projects: Ain't it gorgeous?



We filled the void with this EnergyStar-compliant beauty:



Yay! Burners that can't fly across the cooktop while they're on! And that actually heat evenly and cook at the temperatures they're supposed to! (Will wonders never cease). The maiden voyage of the new range was at lunchtime: perfect grilled cheese. Yum!
